Virtual award presentation ceremony of the Construction Industry Safety Award Scheme 2021/2022.

HA Contractors Commended for Construction Industry Safety

The contractors of new works and maintenance works of the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) have been commended in the Construction Industry Safety Award Scheme 2021/2022, receiving a total of 12 awards. The awards are 3 Bronze, 7 Merit awards and 2 Good Performance Certificates in the categories of Building Sites (Public Sector), Civil Engineering Construction Sites, Renovation and Maintenance Works, Minor Renovation and Maintenance Works, Building Sites (Sub-contractor), and Safety Teams.

Organised by the Labour Department in collaboration with various bodies in the construction industry and other government departments, the Scheme aims to enhance safety awareness among stakeholders and to promote a safety culture in the industry.

The presentation ceremony of the Scheme has been held virtually. The brochure, the award lists and video sharing of the officiating guests have been uploaded onto the Labour Department's website.
