Senior Architect of the Housing Department, Mr Wong Shiu-tao, has been honoured with the Gold Award in the Civil Service College Logo Design Competition. The entry entitled “Staircase” will be adopted as the logo of the Civil Service College. The College is expected to be established by the end of this year.

The design concept of the logo originates from the acronym of the Civil Service College. The design in a “staircase” depicts the commitment of civil service through continuous learning, ongoing enhancement and striving for excellence in the delivery of public service.

The competition received over 600 entries from participants of more than 60 bureaux/departments. The judging panel was chaired by the Chairman of the Civil Service Training Advisory Board, Dr Victor Fung. Panel members included government officials and representatives from professional bodies.
