Latest Honours

HA’s Publications Internationally Recognised

To mark its golden jubilee, HA has published the Commemorative Book, Housing for Millions: Striding across 50 Years of Public Housing, which has been honoured with the Gold Award of the Company History Publication (Up to 50 Years) from The 2024 International Business Awards (IBA).

The HA Annual Report 2022/23, on the other hand, won the Bronze of “Non-Profit Organisation: Housing” from another international award - the 38th ARC Awards International, organsied by MerComm, Inc, which honours excellence in annual reports. The awards accept entries from corporations around the world. All entries are judged by international writing and design professionals.

HA Contractors Commended for Construction Industry Safety Award

The contractors of works of the HA have been commended in the Construction Industry Safety Award Scheme 2023/2024. A total of eight awards, covering two Silvers, three Merits, two Outstanding Safety Performance in Working-at-height Awards, and one Most Active Construction Site in Boosting the Preventive Measures against Heat Stroke at Work Award, were received.

Public Housing Developments at Queen’s Hill Honoured with HKILA Award 2021-2023

The public housing development project at Queen’s Hill, Fanling, under the HA has received a Silver Award under the Excellence in Public Development Category in Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA) Award 2021-2023 for its outstanding achievements in landscape design, cultural conservation and application of digital technology.

“Well． Being and Happy Green Family” Landscape Design Honoured with Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscape Display)

Actively participated in the annual Hong Kong Flower Show, the Housing Department has designed a garden titled “Well．Being and Happy Green Family”, echoing the theme of the Show this year - “Floral Joy Around Town”. The landscape design has proudly won the “Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscape Display)”.

Five Awards on BIM Honoured

The Hong Kong Housing Authority has recently received five awards from the Autodesk Hong Kong BIM Awards 2023 and the Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling Awards 2023, in recognition of its effort and innovation in the exploration and applications of Building Information Modelling.

BEAM Plus Certificate Presentation Ceremony 2023

The Hong Kong Housing Authority has been honoured with 3 special awards and 14 BEAM Plus certifications in BEAM Plus Certificate Presentation Ceremony 2023, in recognition of its active participation and great efforts in building a sustainable built environment.

Public Housing Development at Queen’s Hill Honoured with Green Building Award

The Public Housing Development Project of Queen’s Hill, Fanling, (Queens Hill Estate and Shan Lai Court) under the Hong Kong Housing Authority has proudly received the Grand Award and the Special Citation on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals under the New Buildings Category (Completed Projects – Residential) in Green Building Award 2023.

Hong Kong Sustainable Development Innovation and Technology Award Received

The Hong Kong Housing Authority has been awarded the Excellent Award (Green Building Innovation and Technology Organisation Award) in the Hong Kong Sustainable Development Innovation & Technology Summit 2023 cum Awards Ceremony, in recognition of its outstanding achievements in the pursuit of sustainable development through technological advancements and the application of sustainable innovation in public housing.

“Life First - Walk the Talk” 2023 Award Honoured

Four New Works contractors under the Hong Kong Housing Authority have won one Silver Award, one Excellence Award and two Merits in the "Life First - Walk the Talk" 2023 Award.

Construction Safety Award Received

A contractor of New Works Contract under the Hong Kong Housing Authority has received a bronze award in the category of "Outstanding Lifting Operation Team in Occupational Safety and Health" in the 24th Construction Safety Forum and Award Presentation Ceremony in recognition of its outstanding achievements in occupational safety and health.

Privacy-Friendly Award Honoured

The Housing Department has been presented with the Bronze Award in the Privacy-Friendly Awards 2023.

Pok Hong Market Improvement Works Receives Two Awards

The Hong Kong Housing Authority’s Pok Hong Market Improvement Works has recently been honoured with awards at the Building Surveyor Awards 2023, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors Building Surveying Division; and the Excellent Building Award 2023, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers Building Services Division.
