The Hong Kong Housing Authority’s (HA’s) Pok Hong Market Improvement Works has recently been honoured with awards at the Building Surveyor Awards 2023, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors Building Surveying Division; and the Excellent Building Award 2023, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers Building Services Division.

In 2021, the HA carried out renovations on Pok Hong Market. The market was revamped from the ground up, including redesigning the layout, retrofitting the air-conditioning system, widening the passages between stalls, and improving the lighting and drainage system. Completed in the subsequent year, the improvement works have brought a fresh new look to the market. Residents can enjoy shopping in a spacious, convenient, clean and hygienic environment.
