The project of Shan Lai Court is recognised for its advanced planning and intensive coordination among various parties to ensure the supporting infrastructures delivered on time to support the new community. In response to site conditions, its sustainable design has maximised outdoor landscape and permeability between domestic blocks. Its adaptive re-use of ex-Officer’s Mess building as the Court’s management office becomes a focal point of the central feature garden.

The project of Po Shek Wu Estate is commended for its effective planning in response to the severe site constraints and requirements for phase completion to maintain continuous operations of the existing Park-and-Ride car park at the Site and to enable early intake by the residents. Together with the Government entrustment works of adjoining district improvement works (extension of footbridge and cycle parking areas) designed and executed by the HA, the whole development not only enhances the pedestrian connectivity with public facilities in the district, but also creates a new harmonious community in Sheung Shui.
