The Hong Kong Housing Authority’s (HA’s) contractors of New Works Contracts and Maintenance Works Contracts have been honoured with four awards in the 23rd Construction Safety Award jointly organised by the Occupational Safety and Health Council, Labour Department and government departments, unions and associations.

With over 440 entries competing in 10 award categories, the HA’s contracts have received a gold, a silver, a bronze and a merit award respectively in the categories of “Best Refurbishment and Maintenance Contractor in Occupational Safety and Health”, “Competition on Safety Culture – Best Safety Culture Site”, “Competition on Safety Culture – Best Safety Activity Team” and “Best Safety Enhancement Program for Working at Height”.
