The contractors of new works and maintenance works of the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) have been commended in the Construction Industry Safety Award Scheme 2022/2023. A total of 11 awards, covering one Gold and two Bronze awards, six Merits, one Outstanding Performance in Work-at-height Safety Award, as well as one Good Performance Certificate, were received.

Co-organised by the Labour Department, the construction industry and various other government departments; the annual scheme is to boost awareness of safety and health among stakeholders and promote safety culture in the industry.
